Admission Information

WTCS welcomes students from all denominations and backgrounds, and qualified students are admitted without regard to age, sex, color, race, nationality, or ethnic origin.

To be considered for the admission to a degree program, complete the following documents and forms, and submit them to WTCS via email (info@WestminsterCambodia.org).

  1. WTCS Application for Admission with a photograph attached.
  2. Two Personal Statements:

  • Personal Statement 1: An essay about your spiritual experience, including your conversion, vision, calling, and the reason why you have chosen to pursue your study at WTCS (250-500 words).
  • Personal Statement 2:  An essay about your gifts for ministry, and your professional and vocational goals (250-500 words)

3.  Official Transcripts:

  • The college applicant: High School transcripts from the high school you graduated from.
  • The seminary applicant: College Transcripts. Please include transcripts from each college you attended. If you have previously attended seminary, please include those transcripts as well.

4.   Two References using the forms that are included with the Application:

  • Pastoral/ Ecclesiastical Reference: This is to evaluate the applicant’s spiritual fitness, and this should be completed by a pastor or an elder from the church of which the applicant is a member in good standing.
  • Academic/ Professional Reference: This is to evaluate the applicant’s academic ability and the likelihood that the applicant might successfully meet WTCS’s academic requirements. For a seminary applicant, it should be completed by a professor at the college under whom the applicant completed his/ her coursework.

Once the applicant’s complete application package has been received and reviewed, WTCS will notify the applicant of the final decision regarding the admission.

Since all classes in WTCS, with the exception of the Pastoral Education, are conducted in English, the applicant should take an English Test for the evaluation of language proficiency, and also have an interview in English with the Academic Dean of the school.

When the applicant meets all other requirements but his English proficiency, the student will get admission on probation and be put on the PELT course in English Language Program (See the Catalogue pp. 34-35).

Applications for admission to WTCS are accepted year- round, and the accepted student does not have to wait for the next semester or next academic year. However, it is recommended that the completed application be submitted well in advance of the beginning date of each semester so as to keep up with the class schedules which are offered at particular times only.
